Dubai’s favourite Vietnamese food spot is going from strength to strength, as it expands operations to two new locations in Damac Hills and in Dubai Creek Harbour.
The brand’s success stems from its dedication and commitment to using fresh ingredients, authentic spices and most importantly, its unique ability to cater to diverse dietary preferences without compromising on traditional cooking methods. All of this for you to enjoy in a neat smart-casual setting, without breaking the bank.
The menu at Vietnamese Foodies reflects owner and Executive Chef, Lily Hoa Nguyen’s culinary journey and her passion for bringing Vietnamese cuisine to a city that is no stranger to flavours from every corner of the planet. Notable ingredients that have spurred its success include fresh vegetables, lean meats and fourteen-hour bone broth.
Lily’s inspiring tale began all the way over in Ho Chi Minh city, with the young talent trying her hand in the kitchen at an age when most children would be learning to count on their fingers. Seven years ago when she finally moved to Dubai, she realised the market could do with a generous dose of delicious Vietnamese cuisine, an idea that paved the way for these unique flavours out here. Fresh ingredients, exceptional service and a commitment to traditional cooking methods have been credited for Vietnamese Foodies’ success in Dubai, with its thriving expat community constantly on the lookout for new flavours waiting to be discovered.
The restaurant’s concept has tasted great success, growing from one location to seven over the past five years across high-profile locations in Dubai including at JLT, Downtown Dubai and Nakheel Mall. Most recently, their sixth location has taken shape at Damac Mall, with a seventh set to open its doors in Dubai Creek Harbour before we say goodbye to 2023.
